11th July 2002

This is Joseph. He is the love of my life.

We have been married for 10 years since the 11^th of July. Tomorrow will be the day where we said our vows, cried tears of happiness and celebrated the start of the next chapter of our life.

26th July 2002

These are our two kids, Sasha and Sherman.
We had them since 2004 from SPCA.
Both of them have such beautiful personalities. I somehow feel that they are more attached to Joseph than me. It is as if they know when Joseph was coming home.

21th September 2002

This was when the doctor told you that you could get the artificial leg. I knew you were so excited about the idea of not having to be bounded by crutches anymore.

He did the operation and in a few weeks, he started training again.

14th August 2002

During the weekends, we would go to the park and Joseph would always play with them. He would also personally bathe the dogs and I could always hear him talking to them. Just looking at them, always makes me fall in love with him again.

1st September 2002

He was watching this show about disabled people doing sports. I remembered he told me “Dear, I am going to climb mountain everest one day.” I laughed thinking that he was joking.  The next weekend, he started running with the kids saying that he was training.

After climbing his first mountain, he never stopped climbing then. He insisted on me posing with the mountain. He told me that he was so glad that I climbed it together with him

11th September 2002

It was a difficult time for both of us. It was especially tough for him. He told me that both his arms hurt and also at his armpits. The doctor told us that there were abrasions at his armpits and he is experiencing muscle aches due to the crutches.  When we went home, he just went straight into the room and sat at the bed. It lasted for more than 2 weeks and during the weekends, he was not able to go out to the park during the weekends. I could sense that our kids were not as happy as when he would take them out.

4th October 2002

He insisted on me posing with the mountain. He told me that he was so glad that I climbed it together with him He climbed the Mt Everest and today he was coming back for our 31st anniversary.
