It was a difficult time for both of us. It was especially tough for him. He told me that both his arms hurt and also at his armpits. The doctor told us that there were abrasions at his armpits and he is experiencing muscle aches due to the crutches.  When we went home, he just went straight into the room and sat at the bed. It lasted for more than 2 weeks and during the weekends, he was not able to go out to the park during the weekends. I could sense that our kids were not as happy as when he would take them out.
